Second and Third Performances of Opera at Agassiz Theatre at 2.15 and at 8.

This afternoon at 2.15 and this evening at 8 o'clock are the times set for the second and third performances of Purcell's opera "Dido and Aeneas," presented by members of the Radcliffe Choral Society and the Harvard Glee Club at the Agassiz Theatre. Dr. Archibald T. Davison '06, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of the Appleton Chapel Choir, has been in charge of the two organizations at daily rehearsals in the past few weeks, and the results of his training were shown by the enthusiastic reception accorded the singers last night at the first presentation of the opera. A solo dance given by Miss Madeline Brine '22 is perhaps the outstanding feature of the performance, and was received with great applause. The witches' scene is especially impressive, while Aeneas' song is distinctive.
