CORSON AND MACDONNELL STAR IN WIN OVER BROWN MATMEN

Easily defeating the Brown wrestling team by the score of 18 to 7, the University wrestlers won their fourth contest of the season Saturday. In this meet the Crimson matmen showed an aggressiveness which should tax the strong Yale team to its utmost next Saturday.

The feature of the meet was the bout in the 125-1b. class, in which B. B. Corson, Occ, met Crandell of Brown, and by clever strategy first secured his opponent by a body scissors, then worked from a double arm lock to a spectacular fall with a sudden use of a head scissors. Captain J. A. MacDonnell '21, the body-scissors expert, showed his skill by securing a fall over R. D. Brown, his Providence opponent in the 145 1b. clas, in 5 minutes, 10 seconds.

A well-matched pair, T. L. Parsonnet '22, and Spellman, of Brown in the 158 1b. class went four extra periods before a decision was granted to Parsonnet. Shurtleff, of Brown secured an easy fall over S. Scheinfein '21, with a half-nelson, in 6 minutes, 4 seconds. J. F. Brown '22 also had no difficulty in gaining a fall ever Armstrong, the Brown heavyweight, with a half-nelson and wrist lock.

158-1b. class: T. L. Parsonnet '22, won on decision from Spellman, Brown, six minutes overtime.

175-1b. class: Shurtleff, Brown, threw S. Scheinfein '21, time, 6 minutes, 4 seconds.

Heavyweight class: J. F. Brown '22, threw Armstrong, Brown, time, 6 minutes, 40 seconds.
