At a meeting last night in the Smith Halls Common Room of the 1923 Finance Committee, B. D. Nash, secretary-treasurer of the class and chairman ex-officio of the committee, explained the nature of the competition for chairman of the committee. The competition is planned to continue for one week. Every member of the committee is expected to collect as many subscriptions to the Class Fund as he possibly can. At the end of the competition the member who collects the largest amount of subscriptions will become chairman, and the four next highest collectors will become sub-chairmen.
