Spring lacrosse started last night when candidates for both University and Freshman teams met at the Varsity Club. Dr. Paul Gustafson '12, chosen again this year to coach both teams, was the principal speaker. He told briefly the history of the game and explained for the benefit of the new men, its chief characteristics. Captain L. Hall '20 supplemented Coach Gustafson's talk with explanations of a few of the fundamental points.

Manager R. M. Dunning '20 spoke of the plans for the coming season, the feature of which will be the southern trip during the spring recess. Practice will be held in the baseball cage three evenings a week until the weather permits outdoor work.
