The University fencing team will engage Yale at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the Hemenway Gymnasium. All of the bouts should be fast the closely contested with little if any apparent advantage on either side, if comparative scores are any proof. Throughout the season both teams have shown a marked similitude; each winning from the same colleges and losing to the same colleges and losing to the same colleges with approximately the same scores in the respective meets. The one exception to this, Harvard's 6-3 win over Pennsylvania, to whom Yale lost 4-5 makes the University a slight favorite.
The fencers follow:
HARVARD.--R. H. Snow '20, S. H. Ordway '21, G. B. Howard '21. Yale, J. F. Leicester, A. P. Walker, Jr., and L. F. Bishop, Jr.
