To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

This letter is intended solely for members of the Freshman class. The class of 1919 has put forth two excellent debating teams which give fair promise to bring home a championship on May 5. One team goes to Princeton, the other remaining at home. The expenses this year will be large and are to be met by contributions alone, since the debate is to be free to the public. In previous years classes have each yielded up a total of $300. With the war pouring gold into the United States, the class of 1919 can do what others have done and even more. Give what you can when asked and also when you see a debater or manager, give him what you have in your pocket at the time. All debaters are authorized to collect funds, as are the candidates for the managership of the team. H. EPSTEIN '16,   Coach of 1919 Team.
