France-Amerique Oratorical Contest to Hold Finals in May.

Preliminaries for the second annual oratorical contest in French for the "France-Amerique," medal will be held in Sever 11, Thursday evening April 11, at 7.30 o'clock. All candidates for this competition should prepare five-minute speeches to be delivered in French on any topic connected with French civilization.

At the close of these trials, six men will be chosen for the finals which will take place early in May. At the finals, speeches will be ten instead of five minutes in length and will be on the same subject as chosen for the trials. Any men wishing to obtain further information concerning this contest may do so from Professor L. J. A. Mercier, of the French Department.
