In a fast game at the Hemenway Gymnasium on Saturday the 1923 basketball team was defeated 33-18 by the New Hampshire State College Freshmen. In the second half, with J. Pallo '23 in the line-up, the Freshmen made a strong bid to even up the score, but were unable to overcome the superior passing and shooting of their heavier opponents. Captain H. B. Tyson and J. Pallo played well for the 1923 team, while Bovin, Wright and Campbell starred for the visitors.
