THREE CRIMSON COMPETITIONS BEGIN THURSDAY AT 7.30

Editorial Positions Open to 1921; News and Photographic, to 1922 and 1923.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Competitions for positions on the New, Editorial and Photographic Boards of the CRIMSON open Thursday evening at 7.30 o'clock at the CRIMSON Building on Plympon Street. Members of the classes of 1922 and 1923 are eligible for the News competition. Juniors only may compete for the Editorial Board, and the competitions or the Photographic Department are open to both Sophomores and Freshmen.

The news competition consists in gathering and writing news concerning the University activities, the editorial in composing editorials, and the photographic, in taking pictures to be used chiefly in the pictorial supplement.

An unusual opportunity is offered to Juniors in the editorial competition, as there are usually four members of the Junior class taken on in this department. As yet no men from the class of 1921 have been taken on to the Board in the Editorial department with the result that four positions are open to the candidates in this spring's competition.
