The competition for the managership and assistant managership of the 1923 crew will open today. All candidates for these positions will report at Randolph 32 at 7 P. M., where Manager A. Houghton '21 will outline the plans for the competition and describe the work the men are to do, which consists mainly in aiding the managers of the University crew in compiling the rowing schedules and in afternoon work at the boathouses.
The length of the competition will be about 12 weeks, and it will end on approximately May 10. Previous experience is unnecessary. Crew is the only Freshman sport in which both the manager and the assistant manager receive their numerals.
