Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
This morning at 8 o'clock the University wrestling team leaves for Princeton, where Coach Anderson's men will tackle the Orange and Black tonight in their third meet of the season. After victories over both Tufts and Springfield in the past two weeks, Captain MacDonell leads his men down to New Jersey with confidence in their ability to test the strong Princeton team to its utmost.
The squad will weigh in at the Harvard Club in New York this noon before proceeding to Princeton for the meet tonight. The nine men who will make the trip, and their classes on the team, are as follows: 115 pounds, H. B. Walker '22; 125 pounds, B. B. Corson Occ.; 135 pounds, C. P. Smith '21; 145-pounds, Captain J. A. MacDonell '21; 158 pounds, T. L. Parsonnet '22; 175 pounds, S. Scheinfein '21; heavyweight, J. F. Brown '22; Coach Sam Anderson, and L. A. Watkins '21, manager.
Much is expected in this meet of Brown, Captain MacDonell and Corson, all of whom have won over their opponents in the first two meets, either by falls or by decisions. Both Smith and Personnel also have one victory to their credit this season.
The meet between the 1923 wrestling team and Andover, which was scheduled for today, has been cancelled, the management announced last night.
