Foilsmen Leave For Annapolis

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On Saturday of this week the University fencing team will make the trip to Annapolis, where they will meet the prize team of the Naval Academy. On Monday they will fence Pennsylvania at Philadelphia.

The first meet is expected to be keenly fought, since fencing is compulsory for every cadet, and they have frequently, as last year, carried off the intercollegiate championship. Captain Smellie is considered an expert. Pennsylvania, too, under the leadership of Charnock, will undoubtedly show some good fencing.

The team representing the University will be composed of R. H. Snow '20, captain; S. H. Ordway '21, manager; C. S. Howard '20, and W.R.B. Brewster '22.
