Captain R. C. Goetz and Dr. A. T. Davison will be the speakers at the annual banquet of the University Band to be held Friday night in the Union the management announced yesterday. After the banquet a concert-dance will be given, for which patronesses have been named as follows: Mrs. A. Lawrence Lowell, Mrs. J. M. Ropes, Mrs. F. L. Kennedy, and Mrs. Davison. The concert preceding the dance will be featured by a saxaphone quartet from the band, which will play popular selections.
The schedule of the University Band for February and March includes a concert at the Harvard Club of Boston on February 26, a Tea Dance at the Union on March 3, and a concert at Symphony Hall on March 27. The banquet Friday night is for members of the band, while the dance is open to all members of the University.
