Schurmall Resigns as Cornell Head

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dr. Jacob Gould Schurman, president of Cornell University for nearly 28 years, has tendered his resignation to the university's general administration committee. President Schurman has asked that his resignation become effective June 23, 1920, asserting that he has held the position long enough, and that other duties are claiming his attention.

Dr. Schurman, a Sage professor of ethics and philosophy in Cornell, succeeded the late Charles Kendall Adams to the presidency.
