8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Soft ice and adverse playing conditions on the Brae Burn Country Club rinks slowed up the game which resulted in a 3 to 2 victory for the second team over Newton High School on Saturday afternoon. The second team netted two goals in the first period, while Newton tied the score in the second. In the first extra period the seconds again tallied, making the final score 3 to 2 in their favor.
For the second team A. L Pierson '21 and W. J. Barnes '22 excelled, while Crosby did the best work for the Newtonians.
This is the second contest the second team had last week, as they played an informal game with the Y. D. Friday in the Pavilion, losing by a score of 6-3. They have four games scheduled for this week--Monday, Arlington High School; Tuesday, Cambridge Latin; Wednesday, Exeter; and Saturday, Milton Academy.
