TRACK MEN MAKE READY FOR M.I.T.

Postponed Meet Takes Place on Saturday - Men Needed for Weights.

Trials are being held daily in preparation for the track meet with M.I.T., for the University runners, and the triangular meet between the Freshmen, Boston English High, and the High School of Commerce. The Technology meet was planned to take place two weeks ago, but the extreme cold prevented it. The postponed events will, therefore, be run off at Soldiers Field on Saturday. It is planned to make a very large number of entries from the University, and the work of selecting the best runners is now progressing rapidly. It is especially desired by the track management that more men report for the weight events and that as many football men as possible come out.

The 1923 track team will engage in the triangular meet on Saturday instead of a M.I.T. Freshman contest. The yearlings will contend against the Technology Freshmen later in the month, however.
