The wrestling team as determined in the trials yesterday will meet Tufts tomorrow in the wrestling Room of Hemenway Gymnasium at 4 o'clock. Three trial bouts resulted in the choice of men for the three lighter classes only, as Captain J. A. MacDonell '21 in the 158 pound class, T. L. Parsonnet '22 in the 178 pound class and J. F. Brown '22, heavyweight were without competitors for their positions in the trials. R. W. Powers '21 won by decision from H. B. Walker '22 in the 115-pound class, while in the 125-pound group B. B. Corson '21 won from A. Green '20 by a fall. The most closely contested bout took place when C. P. Smith '21 vanquished G. V. Smith '22, both 135 pounders.
The trial in the 145-pound class to determine the man who will oppose Tufts will take place today between W. Fuller Occ., and G. V. Smith '22. These trials were held in preparation for the Tufts match only and trials to determine the regular team for the next match will be held on Monday. In these any men may challenge the present winners, thus affording constant competition for members of the team. On Friday similar trials for the Freshman wrestlers will be held in anticipation of their first match. In both these coming trials seven pounds over-weight will be allowed.
