Candidates for the University and Freshman hockey teams will assemble in the Union tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock, when the winter season will open officially. The work for the coming weeks will be outlined by Coach William H. Claflin '15 and Captain E. L. Bigelow '21. Practice before vacation will probably be confined to stick work, shooting and passing, indoors. The new Boston Arena may not be ready for use until January.
Second assistant manager competitors will meet at the H. A. A. this noon at 1.05 o'clock, under the charge of Hockey Manager P. Hofer '21. Two positions are vacant, one on the University seven and one on the second team.
Freshman manager candidates will start work tomorrow at the same hour and place.
