Yale kicked off to Harvard. Buell dropped back and kicked a nice goal. Harvard kicked off to Yale. Second down, ten yards to go, a forward pass by Murphy failed. Third down, ten to go, a forward pass by Murphy failed. Fourth down, ten to go, a forward pass by Murphy failed. Harvard's ball. Buell dropped back and kicked an awfully nice goal. Harvard kicked off to Yale. A forward pass by Murphy failed. Another forward pass by Murphy failed. The players are holding a consultation. Murphy attempted a forward pass, but it failed. Acosta went in for Into. Horween went Into for Murphy. Campbell went in for Supe, Kempton and Gaston went in for each other and both went out for the referee; Goopher was game but went out for a rest for the rest of the game. Yale was penalized fifteen yards for gaining. Murphy tried a forward pass but there was a slight breeze to windward and the ball went wild. No wonder. So did the crowd. Bean complained to the umpire that they were stringing him. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the first half but you don't know the other half of it. During the second half both teams were going fast but Yale had lost her sense of direction. Buell dropped back and kicked just the very dearest goal in the world. Yale contemplated threatening an advance but the game had been over for some time. The chapel speaker for next Sunday will be Dean Bull of Flapdoodle who will speak on the subject "Why betting is wrong and what odds will you give me?"--W. M. S. in the "Diogenes' Lamp" Column of the Daily Princetonian.
