By deciding that it will not play Boston College in football in the fall of 1921, Yale has given up its policy of meeting a team from a small college until it wins a victory. This omission of Boston College from the schedule was necessitated on account of the need of developing a consistent schedule.
Frank A: Reynolds, graduate manager athletics at Boston College, sent a telegram to New Haven on Tuesday which read: "Uncertainty as to certain games, important among which is Yale vs. Boston College, renders schedule adjustment very difficult. The Yale management replied: "Regret that in arranging a consistently developed schedule it has been found inadvisable to include game with Boston College."
