Due to a change in the plans of Captain Arthur E. Runnells who is to speak at a student mass meeting in the Union, it has been decided to hold this meeting on Tuesday evening, December 14, instead of on the eighth as previously announced. Professor B. S. Hurlbut '87 will preside.
The Loyal Coalition is arranging this meeting, which is open to all members of the University, because it wishes to give the students an opportunity to hear a well-informed speaker on Anglo-American relations discuss the present situation. Captain Runnells, who held several important positions during the war, has had interesting experiences which he will undoubtedly relate in connection with his explanation of the need for close cooperation between the two great English speaking nations.
