CLOTHING COLLECTORS START THEIR WORK TODAY

TEXT BOOKS ALSO WANTED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Today the Phillips Brooks House Association will begin its annual clothing collection and will continue it until Friday noon. Old coats, suits, shoes and text books are in the greatest demand among the poor, but other articles of clothing and magazines are wanted as well.

Text books used in the larger courses will be especially valuable as there is much need for them in Phillips Brooks House Loan Library.

The majority of the clothing collected will be sent to the Associated Charities of Cambridge and Boston, the Morgan Memorial, the Salvation Army, the Near East Commission and other institutions, for distribution among the poor.

J. S. Clark Jr. '23, who is in charge, has requested the collectors to call on all the men included in their assignment some time before Friday and to have all the articles collected in their own rooms by Friday noon as the wagon will go around to take the things away that afternoon.
