8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The University soccer team was defeated by the score of 2 to 1 in a hard fought game with the Haverford College eleven in Philadelphia Thursday.
The game was closely contested and not until the last few minutes of play did Hoag, of Haverford, manage by extremely skillful footwork to score the winning goal.
The University team worked well together but was unable to stop the rushes of its faster opponents.
Although the entire eleven worked well together, the individual brilliancy of Heizer and Masters, the former scoring the only goal for the University, were the high lights of the game.
Today the eleven plays the University of Pennsylvania in its last game of the season. The Pennsylvania team is reputed to be one of the strongest in Intercollegiate Circles and has had a very successful season this year.
