‘I Am Really Sorry’: Khurana Apologizes for International Student Winter Housing Denials
The University wrestling team will in all probability be as good or better this winter than it was last year. However, as it's only defeat was at the hands of Yale, and this was largely caused by the ineligibility of J. F. Brown '22, and the sickness of Captain MacDonnell '21, and as it took second place in the New England Intercollegiates, this record will be hard to beat. Last season, Princeton, Brown, Springfield and Tufts were among the University team's victims.
Coach Anderson, last year's coach, is especially fortunate in having a large number of regulars returning and in getting two exceptionally fast and skillful men from last year's Freshman team. The letter men are: Captain J. A. MacDonnell '21, J. F. Brown '22, J. L. Parsonnet '22, R. W. Powers '22, S. Scheinfein '21, C. P. Smith '21 and G. V. S. Smith '22. The '23 men available are C. A. C. Eastman, captain of the '23 team, and H. S. Friedman.
Wrestling will start intensively in a few days and the men who report for the team will be divided into groups according to weight. Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the wrestling room of the Hemenway Gymnasium. Sometime before the Christmas vacation a tournament open to the entire University will be held to determine the champions of the different classes. Medals will be awarded to the winners.
The schedule for this season, although not yet completed, will include the customary meets with Yale and Princeton and probably a meet with last year's Intercollegiate Champions, Penn State.
