The University Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa will hold its annual winter banquet in the Union on Monday, December 6, at 6.30 P. M. Professor F. W. Taussig '79, President of the Chapter, will preside, and President A. Lawrence Lowell '77 will speak. All new members of the Fraternity will be received at this meeting. Tickets for the dinner will be sold at $2.50 at the Union, or to H. D. Smith '21, recording secretary, at the Crimson Building.
Members of other chapters who are now in the University can secure tickets by applying to the Corresponding Secretary, Professor W. G. Howard '07, 39 Kirkland street, Cambridge.
Members of the Chapter have been requested to consider the question of shifting the annual June exercises to the afternoon and have been asked to report their opinion on the matter to the officers who were in charge of the investigation of this proposal, made at the business meeting of June, 1920. The officers have pointed out that if the change were made, the dinner would come in the evening and consequently it would be doubtful if the Seniors could attend.
