8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
A new committee for Thanksgiving Relief work has been formed by the Phillips Brooks House Association as a branch of the general Social Service committee. Tomorrow afternoon the members will take Thanksgiving dinners around to fifteen poor families in Cambridge which have been investigated by the Cambridge Welfare Union and the Salvation Army and found to be thoroughly deserving.
Fifty dollars has been appropriated by the cabinet of the Phillips Brooks House Association for this purpose and fifty dollars more by an undergraduate. The food will be prepared and packed in baskets at the Phillips Brooks House tomorrow. If this experiment proves a success, the Phillips Brooks House Association will continue this new activity at Christmas.
The members are:
P. Hofer '21, Chairman, R. Chute '22, R. W. Gratwick '22, D. H. Morris '21, and J. M. Steele '21.
