Nine members of the Freshman class have been appointed members of the Freshman Halls Common Room Committees by the Regent of the University, Matthew Luce '91.

These men are to have general charge of the Common Rooms and are to be responsible for making them as attractive and comfortable as possible for members of their class. They will make arrangements for subscribing to newspapers and magazines to be placed in the Common Rooms for entertainments, etc.

The men are as follows:

Standish Hall Richard C. Storey Jr. of Boston, Henry Wheeler Jr. of Boston. 'Corliss Lament of Englewood, N. J.

Smith Halls Edward N. Carson of New Rochelle, N. Y., Stanley N. Brown of New York City, J. D. Jameson of Branford, Conn.

Gore Hall--Morgan H. Harris of Chestnut Hill, Mass., W. R. Sherwood of San Francisco, Cal., L. B. Lockwood of Brooklyn, N. Y.
