The fall rowing season closed at Yale last Friday when the annual Fall Regatta was held. The championship was won by the 1922 crew, which beat 1923 A by two lengths. There will be no more regular crew work this fall but Coach Nickalls plans to keep ten crews on the water as long as the weather will permit. There will be four university, four freshman and two 150-pound crews in action from now on. Coach Nickalls has three men from last year's University crew and numerous promising men from the 1923 and 1922 crews. The three veterans of the 1920 university are, Captain S. Y. Hord '21, C. Ellis '22 S. and P. Carson '21, the coxswain. John Flagg of the 1920 crew is expected to return after Christmas vacation and C. S. Payson, who rowed in 1919, will also be a candidate. There are seven members of last year's 150-pound crew still available.
