The Cornell cross-country team easily defeated the University harriers Saturday at Syracuse by the score of 28 to 112.

The first eleven men were Cornellians, although only seven of them counted in the scoring. McDermott, the Cornell captain, was the individual star of the meet, leading the entire field from start to finish.

H. M. Mahon '21 ran a game but disheartening race, and although he was the first Harvard man to cross the finish line, he finished twelfth in order. Captain F. G. Bemis '21, the next Crimson runner to come in, finished fifteenth, followed closely by the rest of the Harvard team.
