Membership in the University Dining Halls gives promise of greatly exceeding last year's figures. At this early date it cannot be stated accurately just what the membership will be, for more men are signing up at Memorial every day. The cafeteria in Memorial annex, which is taking the place of Foxcroft Hall, has allowed a much larger enrolment than did the old cafeteria.
At present membership at the Memorial Hall dining room has almost reached the 800 mark, fully 100 more than at this time last year. In addition to this number, there are about 200 meals served to transients in the course of each day.
The membership at the Memorial cafeteria has advanced more than 50 percent over that of Foxcroft Hall last year. There are now 506 students eating there, the enrolment has been closed.
