The annual fall crew regatta will take place Thursday and Friday of this week on the Charles. All races except those between the first crews from each dormitory, and the second crews, will be held on Thursday. These two races will take place on the one-mile course downstream.
On Thursday there will be a race between 1921 A, 1922 A and 1923 A, and probably one between 1922 B, 1923 B, 1923 C, 1923 D and the unclassified crew, both over the mile course. On this day there will also be held races for the three third, fourth and fifth dormitory crews. These three, however, will be rowed on the half-mile upstream course.
The crew management has issued a call for more coxswains, both for the class crews and the Freshman. No experience is needed, but valuable knowledge may be obtained for work next spring. A coxswain reporting now has a chance to make a position on any crew, and, if on a winning one, will receive a medal. Candidates report this afternoon at the boathouse.
