On the evening before the football game with Princeton, November 5, the annual Harvard-Princeton concert will be given in Sanders Theatre, and will be followed by a subscription dance at the Union.
The Harvard Glee Club and the Harvard Instrumental Clubs will combine with 50 men from the Princeton Glee and Instrumental Clubs in presenting a special program for this concert. This will be the first time that the combined concert has been held in Cambridge, and will prove a good opportunity for all University men to hear the musical clubs of the two universities together.
Both the Living Room and the Dining Room of the Union will be used for dancing at the ball. An orchestra of 10 to 15 pieces will play in the former, while J. V. Spaulding's orchestra of seven pieces will furnish the music in the latter. The Reading and Lounging Rooms' will be available for sitting-out. A list of patronesses will be announced later in the week.
All Harvard and Princeton men, and their guests, are invited to the Harvard Princeton Concert and Ball. Subscription blanks are being sent out today, and tickets will be mailed to all subscribers. Further tickets will be on sale at the offices of the Glee Club and the Union, as well as at the doors on the night of November 5. Tickets for the concert will be $1.50, $2.00 and $2.50 each, while the ball-subscription is $3.00 a person, which includes refreshments.
