1922 AND 1923 FAIL TO CAST ENOUGH VOTES

At the end of the second day of voting, neither 1922 nor 1923 have secured the 60 percent quota necessary to make the class elections valid in accordance with the amendments to the class constitution passed last spring.

The 1922 committee has, therefore, decided to continue the voting on next Tuesday, October 26. Polls will be open from 8 until 6 o'clock in both the Crimson Building and Sever Hall. In addition, polls will be established at Memorial Hall and at the Union throughout the time that these dining places are open for luncheon. In the meantime posters will be printed and placed in conspicuous locations in the college buildings to impress those members of the class who have not already voted with the necessity of doing so Tuesday. At present 213 ballots have been cast. Since 327 is the 60 percent quota, at least 114 more are needed to fulfill the constitutional requirements.

As not so great a number is necessary to complete the 1923 elections, the Sophomore committee, made up of last year's officers, has decided to open the polls again in the Crimson Building from 8 until 1.30 today. In order to complete the elections this week, all members of the class of 1923 who have not previously voted should make a particular effort to do so this morning.

The following Sophomores have been appointed to watch the polls. Any man who cannot report at the scheduled time must send a substitute: D. M. Oenslager and G. G. Benedict, 8-9; J. M. Brown and J. C.
