REPUBLICAN CLUB PARADES

MARCH OVER BOSTON ROUTE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All members of the University are invited to swell the ranks of the Republican Torchlight Parade that is scheduled to march over the usual Boston route next Thursday evening, October 28. The University Unit is counted on to fill a large section of the College Delegation, which will be one of the 10 divisions of the parade, of which Channing Cox, Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts, is to be Chief Marshal.

Headed by the University Band, all marchers will assemble in front of University Hall at 6.45 Thursday evening. Here the torches and distinguishing sashes will be given out. The number of torches will be limited, going to the first arrivals. The Unit will march into Boston over Massachusetts avenue to the corner of Marlborough street, where a large addition of graduates is expected from the Harvard Club of Boston.

Statistics already show that Boston College has pledged 1500 of its students for the parade. In order that the committee in charge may have some basis of estimation of the number in the University Unit, all men expecting to join are urged to sign at once their intention of doing so in a Blue Book provided for the purpose at Leavitt & Peirce's or the Crimson Building.
