Yesterday afternoon H. R. Guild 2L. defeated J. B. Fenno '21 in their match to determine who would enter the finals of the University Tennis Tournament, and meet E. A. Niles 3L. in the championship match. The play was very fast and close, going the whole three sets, with neither having much advantage until the end. The final score was 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
In the doubles tournament, C. Hyams and H. R. Guild 2L. passed into the semi-finals by their victory over P. E. Jackson '21 and J. R. Morss '21, 6-4, 6-2. They will next play B. Dell 2 G. B. and J. B. Fenno '21 to decide who will go against L. A. de Turenne '21 and D. P. Robinson in the final match.
The singles finals will be played on Wednesday at Divinity Field.
