English Poet to Speak Monday

Mr. John Drinkwater, English poet and dramatist, author of "Abraham Lincoln," will speak and read from his work at Jordan Hall Monday evening at 8.45 o'clock under the auspices of the American English-Speaking Union.

Besides being the author of a successful play upon an American theme, Mr. Drinkwater is one of the most distinguished of the younger British poets. His "Poems, 1908-1914" has recently been issued in this country, and he is also the author of a well-known essay, "The Lyric." Tickets may be purchased in Cambridge from Hamilton McFadden '21 at 11 Anthorp House, between 7.30 and 9.30 this evening.
