Nickalls Eli Crew Coach

Definite word has been received by the Yale crew management that Guy Nickalls will accept the position of head crew coach for the coming year. Mr. Nickalls, who is now in England, where he has been active in English crew work since the war, expects to sail on February 21 for the United States, and will arrive on March 1, at the time when the crews will begin work. Mr. Nickalls was head crew coach at Yale in 1914-17, during the first two of which years he turned out championship crews.

Crew candidates at New Haven will be called out early in February, when the men will commence light rowing and conditioning exercises, to continue until the harbor is open.
