Under the new regulations of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Administrative Board of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences it is possible to obtain the Degree of A.M. by submitting credits received for summer work only. This new ruling waives the former requirement of at least one year's residence before a candidate would be considered eligible for this degree.
Before any student commences work for this honor a detailed program of courses must be submitted to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Administrative Board of the Graduate Schools of Arts and Sciences. The approval of these boards must be secured in every case before the program is commenced. Men are required to apply to G. W. Robinson, Secretary of the Graduate School, and women to Miss Buckingham, Radeliffe College.
