Two new intercollegiate swimming records have been made by Yale men. In the Pennsylvania meet last week L. P. Thurston swam the 50-yard dash in 24 4-5 seconds, 1-5 of a second less than the former record, while R. H. Meagher lowered his former plunge record of 75 feet in 47 4-5 seconds by 4 1-5 seconds. The final score of this meet, which was the second on the Yale schedule, was Yale 38, Pennsylvania 15. Meagher established his new record in the first plunge.
