Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The University hockey team has almost reached the climax in its preparation for the first of the games with Yale, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow evening in the Pavilion. The work of the men against M.I.T. in yesterday's scrimmage, while not up to the form shown against the B.A.A. combination last week, offers a good foundation for hopes of success against the Elis. The Technology sextet was only able to score twice, while the University tallied six goals.
Coach Winsor, who pushed the men hard from the start of practice until the end, concentrated his attention on picking out the best combination of men to play the two wing positions. The work of E. L. Bigelow '21 at centre has been excellent throughout the season, but the end men have failed to come up to his standard. Three different combinations were tried in all, with R. W. Emmons, 3rd, '20, and F. McN. Bacon '21 taking the ice first. T. M. Avery '21 and D. Angier '22 followed them, and H. B. Snelling '21 and J. Gaston '22 ended up the session.
All Out for Scrub Teams.
Dormitory and scrub hockey starts in earnest on Monday, but the preparations will be made today. For the upperclassmen who want to play in the scrub series books are now in Leavitt and Peirce's in which they can sign up. Twelve players and a manager may sign up for each team, and the first game of the series will be played on Monday. Managers should put down their names and addresses, and all men should watch the CRIMSON to see what time they are scheduled to play and practice.
The 1923 Dormitory players will report on the Charlesbank rinks at 2.30 today for their first practice, and the opening game comes on Monday. All Freshmen who have signed up for hockey as their physical training requirement, and who are not on the 1923 squad, must come out for the practice today, and all others who wish to do so are welcome. A game with Roxbury Latin on February 9 has been scheduled for the winning dormitory team, of if the series is not finished at that time the leading team will be matched against the schoolboys
