The Yale 1920 football schedule is a collection of strong teams, representative not only of New England, but also of the south, middle west, and the Atlantic Coast. The outstanding feature of the schedule is the number of powerful elevens listed, which indicate clearly that Yale is willing next season to risk losing some early season games to end with victories over the University and Princeton.
Tufts, Springfield, and Maryland State, who appeared on last fall's schedule, are not included, Carnegie Tech, Colgate, and West Virginia replacing them. The list of eight games contains no easy contests with the possible exception of that with North Carolina. All of the games except the one with Princeton will be staged in the Bowl. The schedule does not include any western trip, although there is a strong sentiment at New Haven for a trip similar to the one to Pasadena. The schedule as given out by Manager Trouche is as follows:
Oct. 2--Carnegie Tech.
Oct. 9--University of North Carolina.
Oct. 16--Boston College.
Oct. 23--West Virginia.
Oct. 30--Colgate.
Nov. 6--Brown.
Nov. 13--Princeton at Princeton.
Nov. 20--Harvard.
