Freshman Ice Stars Victors

By a 6 to 0 score the Freshman hockey team easily overcame the aggressive but inexperienced Somerville players yesterday afternoon on the Charlesbank rinks.

The game started with a spurt by the Crimson forwards which ended with a goal from a scrimmage. Later J. Larocque netted a long shot from the side of the rink. G. Owen, as usual, played an excellent all-around game, and he with J. C. Bancroft kept the schoolboy players from threatening the Crimson goal. A. H. Ladd and R. F. Thayer both played a consistently good offensive game, and for the visitors Captain Simpson and Powell starred.

The teams lined up as follows: HARVARD 1923.  SOMERVILLE. Ladd, r.w.  l.w., Kelleher Larocque, r.c.  l.c., Powell Thayer, l.c.  r.c., Toulouse Guild, l.w.  r.w., Simpson Owen, p.  p., Garrod Bancroft, c.p.  c.p., Olson Flint, g.  g., Laverly
