Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The first cross-country run of the season was held at 4 o'clock yesterday when 30 of the University and 20 of the 1923 men were sent over the Belmont course. The 1923 squad finished the three-mile course in good time, while the-University runners continued on the six-mile circuit.
D. F. O'Connell '21, B. Lewis '20, H. D. Constigan '20, W. Goodwin '20, C. E. Dexter '22, D. H. Worrall '20, C. A. Corning '20 and A. W. Douglass '21 showed excellent form. The 1923 squad is the most promising of recent years. However, 20 new men are needed to bring the squad up to full strength.
Beginning October 7, a series of three interdormitory cross-country runs for the 1923 squad, will start. From these contests the more promising material will be selected to join the Freshman team. All 1923 men wishing to try for the interdormitory series should report at the Locker Building today at 4 o'clock.
On October 17, the interclass cross-country run will be held on the Belmont course. Trials for the training table will be held on Friday of this week at Belmont. The most promising candidates of the University and Freshman squads will be assigned to the training table Monday, but new lists will be made each week.
