Yale Registration Breaks Record

With the opening of the dormitories yesterday, Yale began its 219th year with what is expected to prove the largest registration on record. The freshman class in the academic department alone is by far the largest in Yale history.

From figures so far available the first-year men will number well over 450, and two temporary dormitories have been secured to house the surplus.
