UNIVERSITY LEADS FIELD IN INTERCOLLEGIATE VICTORIES

CORNELL STRONG OF LATE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the forty-two annual intercollegiate track and field meets which have been held under the auspices of the I. C. A. A. A. A. since 1876, the University, with thirteen victories to its credit, has won more times than any other college. Yale is second with nine wins, Cornell and Pennsylvania tied for third with eight each, Columbia fifth with three, and Princeton, with only one victory, is the only other college to have won an intercollegiate meet.

However, in recent years, the University has not lived up to its early record. Of the last ten meets, Cornell has won six and Pennsylvania has come out ahead three times, while the University has only scored one victory.
