All Seniors will assemble on the steps of Widener Library at 8 o'clock this morning for the annual Senior Picnic. A slogan of "No cuts: no cash" has been adopted for the day, because the Faculty will excuse all cuts by members of the class of 1919 even by those who are on probation, and because the picnic will be absolutely free to all Seniors.
The picnickers will wear overalls, which are the only thing not provided by the management. These may be procured from E. L. Casey '19, 13 Holyoke House, at cost price, or from Parke Snow, the Harvard square dry goods company. Cups and class caps will be distributed shortly after the assembly, and a class picture will be taken on the steps of the Library.
Kanrich's twelve-piece brass band will lead the procession to the Brattle square subway station, where the class will entrain for the South Station, on three special cars which will be waiting for them. On reaching the station, the class will parade to the wharf, and will embark on the steamship "New Shoreham." They will reach Downer's Landing, which is near Weymouth, after a ride of an hour and a half down the harbor.
On reaching the landing, the main program will begin. There will be athletic sports, including track games, water-sports, and baseball. Prizes will be awarded to all the winners. Luncheon will be served about 1 o'clock, and the sports will continue throughout the afternoon. All men who intend to swim must bring tights or bathing suits, and the baseball players should provide their own equipment.
The picnickers will leave the landing about 4 o'clock, returning by the same route, and arriving in Cambridge not later than 6 o'clock.
