This evening at 8 o'clock the Junior smoker will be held in the Living Room of the Union. This is the first smoker that the Class of 1920 has had this year, and will be the last social gathering of the class until next fall.
J. C. Bolton '20, president of the class, will be the first speaker, and will introduce Dean L. S. Mayo '10, who will make a short address. This will be followed by a speech by E. A. Bacon '20, secretary-treasurer of the class, who will outline the plans for a memorial to the members of the Junior Class who died in the war.
Bert Lowe to Furnish Music.
Two motion pictures will be shown; one a two-reel Mack Sennett comedy, and a five-reel film featuring Doughlas Fairbanks. Bert Lowe's orchestra has been obtained to furnish music for the occasion. Cigarettes, pretzels, and ginger ale will be served as usual.
There will be only one more smoker at the University this year. On Wednesday or Thursday of next week the Freshmen will hold their second smoker, which will take the place of the annual dinner. At that time they will vote on the amendment to the class constitution concerning the manner of conducting elections.
