Yale Raises Tuition Charges; Increases Professors' Salaries

Yale has become the third New England College to announce an early increase in its tuition fee, the corporation having voted to levy on all students entering next fall and thereafter a charge of $240 a year. This represents an increase of $40 in the Sheffield Scientific School and of $80 in the college itself. An effort will be made to help deserving and poor students with scholarship aid.

The corporation also voted to increase salaries of all full time professors now receiving less than $4,000 a yet to $4,000 beginning with the next fiscal year.
