PULITZER '00 OFFERS CUP FOR BEST INTERCOLLEGIATE FLIGHT

Competitors May Fly From Anywhere in United States to Atlantic City Tournament.

A telegram from the Aero Club of America was received by the Aeronautical Society announcing, that Ralph Pulitzer '00, has offered a trophy for a long-distance aeroplane race in connection with the Intercollegiate Aerial Tournament this May. Under the terms of the competition, the trophy is to be awarded to the aviator who makes the longest flight during the month of May from any place in the United States to Atlantic City, N. J., the scene of the tournament. Aeronautical clubs throughout the country have been asked to enter representative in this new contest, which is open to all. The flyers will be permitted to make as many trials for the cup as they wish while the Tournament is going on, and they will be asked to aid the Victory Loan as an incidental part of their flights.
