University's Wording Simplifies Subject for Triangular Argument

Yale has agreed to the University's request that the wording of the subject for the triangular debate on May 2 should be changed and has proposed that the University word as well as choose, the question. The University debating authorities have consented and announce that the following question will be debated instead of the wording announced yesterday; "Resolved, that the eighteenth amendment to the United States Constitution should be repealed."

Work on the subject begins for the team today when a meeting of all members will be held in Claverly 45 to discuss lines of argument. Briefs of both sides of the case will be handed in tomorrow, and the first trial debate will take place in the New Lecture Hall on Wednesday at 5 o'clock.

Plans are under way to hold the University. Yale debate in Boston under the auspices of the Boston Harvard Club. The University debate with Princeton will be held for the first time in New York under the management of the Harvard and Princeton Clubs of that city.

Managerial candidates start their competition tonight at 7, when they report to M. Zobel, 1750 Cambridge street. An assistant and two second assistants will be chosen.
